what the fuck generations might actually be?

err.. a Quake3 mod containing player classes from other id games: wolf guy, doom guy, quake guy, quake2 guy & quake3 guy. every class has its own weapons, powerups and characteristics etc.

and movement ! :d

you can't jump in Doom, but it would be really stupid to make the Doom class so weak by not allowing jumping..

also jumping in Doom became standard in variations like Skulltag, Zdaemon and 99% of the new Doom engines.

i always thought the doom engine only supported 2 dimensions, and that there was no z-axis, even tho the game made it look there there was one

I think we're splitting hairs here. It doesn't matter in my opinion. They could have thought of a way to make the doom character not jump but just be a hulk with strafing abilities?

Regardless, I think the point is to make it a "fun mod". Staying absolutely orthodox to each game would be stupid.

yeah.. staying absolutely orthodox to each game means that QuakeWorld class would be imba

- fastest rockets, 120 damage
- shaft has 300 damage/s
- air control

Hmm, I'm not sure the doom class had diagonal running when I tested this a few years back. Hopefully it's in :)

I have version .99d until of course I can get to get working .99f I will play whats better. meantime I love the promo and can't wait for version 1.0!! I wonder when it will come out. I wonder however the creators made a vid of it if it is not playable.
